Everybody Says Don’t: Celebrating the music of Stephen Sondheim.

Multiple-award winning composer/lyricist Stephen Sondheim (1930-2021) was a major force in musical theatre. His work was genius in the complex engagement of words and music.

Vocalist Joan Curto, has been called a “cabaret icon” by NBC news Chicago. Chicago based She has performed in theaters and clubs across the Country. Joan has been performing the songs of Stephen Sondheim to rave reviews for many years.  In 2019, she directed a major Sondheim tribute at the Auditorium Theatre to celebrate his 90th Birthday. Joan has garnered a reputation for both her thoughtful interpretations and powerful voice.  At this event, Joan will be joined by beloved Chicago performer and music director Beckie Menzie. This will be a truly fabulous evening!
