Women in Music, Song and Verse: The Musicality of Poetry

The program will include performances from Black Voices in Cabaret artists - Lynne Jordan and Arlene Armstrong as well as poet, singer, performer Nikki Patin and poet and performer Toni Asanti Lightfoot with Musical Director Raymond Glower. Along with poetry performances, there will be a little Gershwin, a bit of Nina Simone and a lot of fabulous!! All in the amazingly beautiful backdrop of the Art Deco ballroom at the Douglass Park fieldhouse.
