Award-winning Vocalist Maureen Christine with her talented quartet present a Brand New Concert “Your Hit Parade-Global Edition!” SAT MARCH 1st 7:30pm at The Baker Community Center, St. Charles.
Presented by the Norris Cultural Arts Center, and covering a range of time and territory, “Your Hit Parade – Global Edition” showcases popular hits of artists and composers from various spots around the globe. Enjoy songs made famous by England’s Julie Andrews, Britain’s Andrew Lloyd-Webber, Australia’s Helen Reddy, Missouri’s hit maker Burt Bacharach, and British-Australian singer Olivia Newton John, among others. To add to the variety, the program includes famous light classical selections from Italy and Paris, something fun from Ireland, and of course a sprinkling of jazz standards and a Bossa Nova from Brazil to round out the musical potpourri.
