While many know her as the character Dixie McCall, she released over 30 albums of pop and jazz standards during the 1950s and 1960s, with her signature song being the classic Cry Me a River. Other songs include Perfidia, Fly Me to the Moon, and Let There Be Love. She married songwriter and jazz pianist Bobby Troup ("Route 66") and later starred with him in the television drama Emergency!
