Joined by the all-star musicians on the album Joshua Ramos, bass,(Ramsey Lewis) Jim Widlowski, drums,(The Who's Tommy, Broadway) Fareed Haque, guitar, (World Guitar Master) and Pat Mallinger, saxophone(Lead Mentor, Ravinia Jazz Mentor Program), the one time concert is not to be missed!
The evening will feature stories and songs from the album including the singles Song Sung Blue, a jazz waltz cover of the 1972 Neil Diamond hit, The Lusty Month of May, a New Orleans second-line arrangement, originals including Fiets Don't Fail Me Now about cycling in Amsterdam, Clifford Brown’s Joy Spring, and an Afro-cuban treatment of Lerner and Loewe’s, I Could Have Danced All Night dropping on Friday Sept 13!
The album was recorded at Chicago's Soundmine Studios, Dennis Tousana, recording engineer, Erik J Martin, mixing engineer & ATMOS Mastering, with stereo Mastering by Bob Katz, Digital Domain.
