CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS from artists and producers to present during Chicago Cabaret Week 2026, Friday, May 8 thru Sunday, May 17, 2026.
The deadline to submit your shows is Friday, December 12, 2025 at 5 PM .
This will be our fifth Annual Chicago Cabaret Week! In 2025, over 90 performers and 17 venues featured solo and group shows offering cabaret genres from jazz and blues, R&B, burlesque, Broadway, world music and more. The goal of Chicago Cabaret Week is to offer performances that represent the best and broadest variety of cabaret to new and existing audiences, in every part of town.
The process for submissions, selection & scheduling:
- Submissions are vetted by an outside selection committee. To ensure the highest quality, we request that you submit shows already well developed, performed, and received.
- Artists and Producers will be notified by January 5, 2026 if their show has been selected for the Show Menu.
- Venues then select shows from the Official Show Menu and work with the Cabaret Week Coordinators to determine possible dates/times.
- Venues and Artists/Producers contract directly with each other. Your agreement must include a general admission price of $30 or less for each show.
