The HERstory duo is bringing their newest show to Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood! After celebrating suffragists, trailblazers, and songwriters in earlier shows, Anita and Catherine now bring you their musical tribute to the amazing women who have shaped Chicago's vibrant history and culture. With music by Schwartz, Parton, Strouse, Cornelia, Sondheim, and others, they spotlight an array of women – from the famous and infamous to the “hidden figures” who have left an indelible mark on our city. With award-winning Music Director Beckie Menzie at the piano, Catherine and Anita deliver their signature blend of inspiring stories interwoven with captivating music - all to celebrate the incredible achievements of Windy City “SHEroes” from all walks of life! This free performance is generously sponsored by JCC Chicago’s Community Days program. A pre-show lunch is served at 12 noon with the performance starting at 12:30. Advance registration is required:
