WOODSTOCK FOLK FESTIVAL CELEBRATES 41 YEARS
ON SUNDAY, JULY 19, 2026
BUILDING COMMUNITY THROUGH MUSIC
Produced by CCP member Carol Obertubbesing, you're invited to come to the 41st Annual Woodstock Folk Festival on Sunday, July 19, 2026,
from Noon to 6 p.m. on the historic Square in Woodstock, Illinois, about 50 miles northwest of Chicago. The Festival continues to present local, national, and international musicians who perform in a variety of styles. This year performers from Illinois, Arizona, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and British Columbia, CA will present Americana, Traditional and Contemporary, Singer-Songwriter, Bluegrass, Blues, Country, Pop, and Latin music, including some songs in both English and Spanish at the Main Stage. The Open Mic Stage offers an opportunity for audience members to share their talent as well as a Harmony Workshop. More information is on the Festival website, woodstockfolkfestival.org.
In case of rain, the Festival will move to the Woodstock Opera House (new rain location). Unless we need to move to the rain location, attendees should bring a blanket or lawn chair. No pets are permitted in the park, only on the periphery. There is free parking and the UP Northwest Metra stop is just one block north of the Square.
The suggested donation for the all-day Sunday Festival is $40/individual and $50/family. The Festival accepts Visa, MasterCard, and checks, but cash is preferred. There is no pre-registration. More info at woodstockfolkfestival.org.
