Performance Opportunities

Get your feet wet.	*Emerging Artists Showcase -** Up to five selected artists who have not yet performed a cabaret show of their own compete for judges in this annual showcase. One winner is selected to receive the Denise Tomasello Scholarship Award to help cover production costs of their first solo cabaret show. To learn more, email education@chicacgocabaret.org.

Already performing shows but need a bit more exposure?	Open Mics - Happening all over the City of Chicago and online, Open Mics welcome performers new to cabaret as well as established veterans. Open Mics hosted by our members are posted on our *Instagram* & *Facebook* pages, and listed on our website *calendar*.

Get cast in one of our productions	Chicago Cabaret Productions* - Live showcases with group casts in a variety of themed programs, i.e., the Musical Mondays series, our two-night holiday show Merry Measures, composer/lyricist shows. Annual Gala* - The annual gala concert and fundraiser honors both local and national cabaret figures and featured members. To be eligible to perform you must have previously produced your own cabaret show. Cabaret Beat - Music and Conversation—The online series combines interviews and performances by cabaret veterans and new performers. Shows air on YouTube* and Facebook. Publicize and Promote Your Projects

Our Calendar of upcoming performances is sent weekly to our mailing list of over 1,800 fans and members. As a member you can list your shows and gigs in the calendar.	As a member, you can send emails directly to fans and other members announcing your upcoming performances.
The Chicago Cabaret Professionals Social Media team then promotes your performances to hundreds more via our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.	Lift up your fellow members by sharing news about their upcoming performances on your own social media platforms - and they will do the same for you.
The *Quarter Note Newsletter* will now be published for the public as *Chicago Cabaret Magazine*! Members are encouraged to submit articles and events to editor@chicagocabaret.org for the quarterly publication.
