Please join Chicago cabaret artists Anita Kallen and Catherine Thomson for an autumn luncheon and cabaret performance at the North Shore Senior Center saluting the gutsy gals who boldly defied society’s conventions - going where no woman had gone before - and achieved groundbreaking female “Firsts.” They’ll be sharing songs and inspiring stories of courage, grace, and an unwavering determination to make lemonade from life&#39;s lemons! Music Director Beckie Menzie will be at the piano playing songs by Harold Arlen, Stephen Schwartz, Dolly Parton, Tom Lehrer, Kander &amp; Ebb, and Sara Bareilles, among others.
