Award-winning Vocalist Maureen Christine with her talented quartet present a Brand New Concert “Your Hit Parade-Global Edition!” SAT MARCH 1st 7:30pm at The Baker Community Center, St. Charles.  Presented by the Norris Cultural Arts Center, and covering a range of time and territory, “Your Hit Parade – Global Edition” showcases popular hits of artists and composers from various spots around the globe. Enjoy songs made famous by England’s Julie Andrews, Britain’s Andrew Lloyd-Webber, Australia’s Helen Reddy, Missouri’s hit maker Burt Bacharach, and British-Australian singer Olivia Newton John, among others.  To add to the variety, the program includes famous light classical selections from Italy and Paris, something fun from Ireland, and of course a sprinkling of jazz standards and a Bossa Nova from Brazil to round out the musical potpourri. Come Celebrate Women in the Arts! Join us for our fourth annual International Women’s Day concert extravaganza on Saturday, March 8 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Doors open at 7 pm. Stay for the afterglow reception with the artists. Bellissima’s IWD 2025 Concert features an outstanding female roster showcasing works of women in the arts. Center-stage are singers Anna Caldwell, Kelci Kosin, Jules Furgal and Christine Steyer joined by collaborative pianist Jennifer McCabe. The concert will feature the music of Amy Beach, Florence Price, Elizabeth Doyle, Marjorie Rusche and Ella Fitzgerald, set to words of Colette, Sappho and other women. Special guests Elizabeth Doyle and Ava Logan will perform excerpts from their show "Cole Porter & Bricktop’s Paris", honoring the Black entertainer of Jazz Age Paris. The concert is emceed by Claudia Hommel and set to a backdrop of images by visual artist Emily Nelson Taylor. Doors open at 7 PM. Ample free street parking and accessible building.
