With music by Schwartz, Parton, Strouse, Cornelia, Sondheim, and others, they spotlight an array of women – from the famous and infamous to the “hidden figures” who have left an indelible mark on our city. With award-winning Music Director Beckie Menzie at the piano, Catherine and Anita deliver their signature blend of inspiring stories interwoven with captivating music - all to celebrate the incredible achievements of Windy City “SHEroes” from all walks of life! Concert will combine American Songbook tunes by those who’ve served ie. Irving Berlin, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra with USO performers like Doris Day and the Andrew Sisters. We’ll also add some Americana tunes like Rocky Top, America the Beautiful, What a Wonderful World etc.
