Teetering on the tightrope between humor and pathos, Wendy Parman takes us on a journey of shapeshifting through life, in story and song. With the incomparable Beckie Menzie on piano, she traces her path, from actor/chameleon to Brechtian chanteuse, to rockabilly roots siren-adapting, evolving…forever in search of a place to land.
The evening will feature mostly original songs, from a variety of projects over the years. Kurt Weill and genre mashing not optional.

"Wendy Parman exudes the wisdom and experience of a classic chanteuse, while somehow embodying the delight and joie de vivre of an ingenue. She's a complex and very winning performer." Robert Rodi, NewCity
